By not flying abroad you are already making a difference. - But what about the carbon from our vintage vans? We pledge to offset all carbon emmisions for our fleet and office each year. Carbon offsetting involves calculating these CO2 emissions and purchasing an equal number of carbon credits, from a carbon reduction project somewhere in the world.
What have we done so far?
Slow lane Campers Ltd constantly work to reduce our carbon emmisions.Slow Lane campers have researched each of our campervans' history and offset the last 10 years of driving emmisions.
What do you need to do?
Very little!When you book your camper, we will ask you where you will be travelling from, and your mode of transport. We will offset the first 100 miles of your car or train journey to collect the campervan.
We will ask you to collect reciepts of any petrol or butane gas you use whilst holidaying, We will offset the carbon for the duration of your holiday.
Think Green! We ask you to think about your holiday activities, if you spend a day powerboating off the coast of North Wales, or on a helicopter flight around the Lake District, we will not offset this (you can of course do this yourself).
